Type Arabic online with a full Arabic layout

This online Arabic keyboard lets you type Arabic directly in your browser, even if your device is not set up with an Arabic keyboard. It is helpful for writing messages, emails, comments, and filling in forms.

Arabic is written from right to left, so your text will usually align to the right. If you are copying Arabic into another app, the direction is handled by that app, but the characters you type here will stay the same.

The layout includes common Arabic letters like ا, ب, ت, م, and punctuation such as ؟ and ،, so you can type naturally without switching system settings.

How typing Arabic works on this page

You can type using your physical keyboard mapping on this page or click the on-screen keys. Both methods insert characters at the cursor in the text box.

1. Click inside the text box to place the cursor.
2. Type Arabic using your keyboard or by clicking the Arabic letters on the layout.
3. Use Shift for alternate marks and symbols shown on some keys.
4. Use undo and redo while editing, then copy or download your final text.

Voice typing for Arabic

After dictation, take a moment to review the text. Names, punctuation, and some word forms may need small fixes. You can click the Arabic keys to correct the text before copying it.

Using the on-screen Arabic keys

Click any key to insert that character at the cursor position. This is handy if you only need a few Arabic letters, or if you are on a shared computer where you cannot add an Arabic keyboard.

You can also combine both methods: type most of the sentence on your physical keyboard and click only the characters you need, such as ؟ or ،. Undo is useful if you click the wrong key.
