Type English online with a QWERTY keyboard

This online English keyboard lets you type English in your browser using a familiar QWERTY layout. It is useful if you are on a shared computer, a public device, or any setup where you want a simple on-screen way to type.

You can click the keys with a mouse or touch screen, or you can use your physical keyboard for faster typing. Everything you type appears in the text box so you can copy it into emails, documents, chats, or forms.

How typing works on this page

The keyboard supports normal typing actions like uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. You can also use the editing tools while you write.

1. Click inside the text box to place the cursor.
2. Type using your physical keyboard or click the on-screen keys.
3. Use Shift and Caps Lock for uppercase.
4. Use undo and redo if you make a mistake, then copy or download your final text.

Voice typing in English

Using the on-screen keyboard

Clicking a key inserts that character at the cursor position. This is handy on touch screens, or when your physical keyboard layout is different from what you need.

You can mix input methods: type most text physically and click only the symbols you need. If you click the wrong key, undo is usually faster than deleting.
